With two girls at school, drop-offs, pick-ups, after-school activities — we are a family with an already full life, which I love. So when my third daughter was born, I was happy to take the opportunity to slow down a little.
For a few weeks, we cocooned. My husband held the fort with the big girls while I stayed close to home with the baby. It was quiet and slow and soft, and I loved every minute of it.
I never wanted to press pause on our life. I just needed to bring our new addition into it.
But there was this moment I kept running into. Baby asleep in the car. I'd have to duck into school, or swing past the chemist on the way home or run out at 5pm because inevitably no one had thought about dinner! And I'd stand there thinking — do I wake her, or figure something else out?
Putting her in a carrier would take longer than the actual task. So I'd improvise.
I already had all the gear — two kids worth of it. But nothing was designed for this particular moment. The brief one. The in-between one.
So I made something that was.

THE IN-BETWEEN
Early parenthood isn't just defined by the milestones.
It's lived in the moments in between.
The steps from the car to the door. The shuffle in and out of the pram. Those hold-your-breath seconds where you hope they stay asleep. These moments happen over and over, every day — and they're the ones that quietly ask the most of you.
TINOK exists for the moving. The carrying. The transferring.
Usually one-handed. Always on the go.
The In-Between Bag is a different kind of carrier — not a structured one, not a wrap, not a sling. It's a soft, supportive place to keep a resting or awake baby comfortable as you move — so they stay settled, and you stay present.
When a baby stays comfortable, the day feels a whole lot calmer. No one's fussy. No one's flustered. You're both just moving forward, together.
These early days are fast and fleeting. Don't rush the ordinary ones.
Ease into it. Cherish every minute.
